Austin Reggae Festival
Austin Reggae Festival began as the Bob Marley Fest in 1994 and is an annual Austin event benefiting the Capital Area Food Bank. In 2012, the Austin Reggae Festival raised over $200,000 to help feed hungry people and families in Central Texas. Austin Reggae Fest features live world music from internationally known bands with food, arts and crafts vendors and takes place at Auditorium Shores alongside Lady Bird (Town Lake) in downtown Austin. The dates for the three day 2014 Austin Reggae Festival are Friday April 18, Saturday April 19 and Sunday April 20, 2014.
